Intimate Kananaskis Country Wedding

On a hot summer day, I joined Chantale and Fraser for their intimate Kananaskis wedding at Willow Hill Lodge. As July goes in Calgary - a thunderstorm swept in just before the ceremony - and swept out just as quickly as it came. As the rain thumped down on the windows, Chantale and Fraser quietly got ready together. Not a stressful look in sight! All that mattered was that they were together, surrounded by all of their loved ones.

The stunning Calgary foothills painted the perfect backdrop to host the couple’s closest friends and family. With a relaxed timeline for the day, we had tons of time to take deep breaths and be totally present with intimate couple portraits, reflected in their wedding gallery. A soft pink sunset topped off this sweet day. I couldn’t have been more honoured to document these special moments in time!
